Welcome to the undersea world of Kauai and Fathom Five Divers!
Kauai has some of the most spectacular scuba diving in Hawaii. We are blessed with rich marine life, sea mammals, and unusual volcanic bottom formations such as ledges, arches, pinnacles,and caverns. The water temperature is a comfortable year-round 75-80 degrees, with visibility averaging 100 feet. We frequent more than 20 dive sites ranging from 30-90 feet. Located on the south shore of Kauai, in Old Koloa Town, Fathom Five is just 5 minutes way from sunny Poipu Beach and Kukuiula Harbor. Our dive sites are a short 10-15 minute boatride from the harbor, making a 2 tank boat dive a half-day trip and providing boat charters for experienced and beginning divers.

Fathom Five is a PADI 5 STAR IDC facility, specializing in open water and advanced open water certifications, specialty courses, rescue and divemaster courses, instructor development courses, and we have the largest selection of scuba equipment on Kauai. We have been in business for over 15 years now, making Fathom Five the longest established diving outfitter on the island. Many of our staff members have been with us since we began operations, and we have many customers that return to dive with us year after year.

Below is a photo of the Fathom Five® Dive Shop, which is only a 15 minute drive from the Kalaheo Plantation and offers many different dive sites. Fathom Five® offers extremely safe boat dives with very qualified divemasters. These divemasters are also very acquainted with the needs of all levels of divers from the most experienced to the just-certified beginner. Fathom Five® also offers complete certification classes from Open Water to Advanced levels.
